I represent property owners, developers and villages in all phases of land use and real estate development, including plan approvals, resolution of zoning issues, performing subdivisions and litigating land use disputes.
I have extensive expertise with all facets administrative regulations impacting land use applications on Long Island and throughout New York. I advise clients on compliance with laws and regulations related to real estate development including zoning, land use restrictions and environmental statutes. Developers turn to me for advice and resources needed to successfully complete their projects.
Obtaining Approvals
My goal is to obtain requisite approvals for my clients’ development projects in a prompt and economical manner. I can work very effectively with other professionals to obtain permit applications, negotiate with villages and agencies and perform necessary public notices as quickly as possible.
Land Use & Zoning Litigation
When necessary, I litigate denials of land use applications and zoning variances by villages and other government entitles, appearing before village boards as well as trial New York trial and appellate courts. The insight into the inner workings of government entities that I've developed throughout my service as a village attorney is a powerful asset to my clients.
